You are probably aware by now of Tang Hall SMART's Post 16 educational courses in music and the arts for young people with additional needs. We always have a lot to say about this side of our offer, as the Tang Hall SMART students achieve so very much. At peak times, we have something to post about nearly daily on our social media accounts, and on the days we don't - then we are likely to have a little article for sharing about one of the older participant groups who have SEND, or one of our community clubs, perhaps an invitation to an event, or at times even something cool to say about a staff member or individual student.

What you may not be so aware of, is that right from our very beginning, we have also worked in the field of homelessness too. The link to our current offer is on this page of our website

The reason for my mentioning this today, is that we are proud to be hosting an event on 28th September alongside the University of York, whereby some research we collaborated on, "Connecting the Dots" will form the basis of a city-wide action plan.

If you have an interest in strategic solutions to homelessness, please do sign up for the event. Places are limited to 50 however so first come, first served.

If you would like to read a summary of the research, then it can be found on our homelessness page.
