Inclusive Rock School

Our inclusive rock school is tailored for those with learning disabilities aged 11-16. Participants work with our experienced tutors to learn how to play instruments, make music with others, and develop their musical skills in a relaxed and fun environment. The aim is to work towards performing at music venues and theatres across York. We have had a fantastic track record of enabling your people with a learning disability to develop their musicianship all whilst having a ton of fun!

Sessions are weekly on a Monday at 3:30 - 5pm in our music rooms located at the Tang Hall Explore Library. Sessions are free!

The club is run by our blues experts Graham and Colin, who will help you to learn to play blues music stylistically with others with a view of performing as a band in future. Sessions involve playing covers, writing original songs and developing musical skills. Sessions run from 6:45 - 8pm on a Monday.
